Keep Calm and Carry On - We are almost open!

After 25 years of "on time" construction and a guaranteed opening date from our builder, I am dissappointed to let you know that we are going to be later than planned in opening Cherish at Central Park. After agreeing to a Phased Occupancy Permit for the east wing (Jacklin Road wing) of the building, we were advised October 10 by our builder that we wouldn't be getting our Occupancy Permit for the west wing on the planned date.
Heatherbrae Builders tells us we will have our west wing Occupancy Permit on November 23 or 24th. With the majority of the suites finished and sitting empty it is very disappointing. It seems that a big part of the problem is our elevator which is almost finished now.
Nonetheless, it is a very exciting time for us. Furniture is in storage downstairs, just waiting to make its way up to be with family and friends. Our baby grand piano is very lonely in storage eagerly waiting for it's prominent location in the front lobby to bring music and joy to all.
While is is wonderful that everyone has been able to sell their homes for top dollar in record time, our heated market has put incredible pressure on our construction trades. Special thanks to everyone on our local construction team. We know how hard you are working. Thank you.
