The staff at Cherish are nothing short of remarkable; their dedication and warmth make it more than just a residence for the elderly—it’s a vibrant community where life is celebrated every day. Witnessing the transformation of my friend’s mom, who was initially reluctant to move into Cherish but now can’t imagine life anywhere else, is truly inspiring. It’s a testament to the loving environment Cherish provides.

One day I made the decision to move out of my condo and came here. I feel safe here. If you want to be alone you can be, but don’t have to be. Almost everyone here is friendly, we get choices for our meals which is very nice. There are outings on the bus. I like it here. My cat likes it here. You can bring your car here. I love the effort that goes into this place. There are so many activities, like carpet bowling, painting, dance classes and live music!

I’m so grateful I still have my husband beside me. We are together—and thriving—because Micky created a place that lets couples stay together and live with dignity and purpose. Cherish didn’t just keep us together—it gave us back our independence. It’s a place to regain your strength, your independence, and your future. It’s a place to heal, to thrive, and to continue living the life you choose.
